Welcoming Christy Burton to the Impact Foundation Team

Christy has an all-encompassing role working as Chief of Staff, helping keep day-to-day processes moving smoothly and assisting multiple teams with key initiatives.

Christy studied urban ministries at Moody Bible Institute before pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska. She is a Senior Certified Professional with the Society for Human Resource Management and has over a decade of leadership experience in human resources.

One of Christy’s passions is understanding what motivates people, especially within the context of community. She has shaped her life around fostering deep connections with others and has walked out God’s calling to care for His people by serving and living in at-risk communities.

For Christy, learning about the world and traveling off the beaten path is time well spent. She and her husband, Dee Jay, enjoy time with their two adult daughters and serve the homeless community in Lincoln, Nebraska, where they call home.
