Bearwater Materials operates a Construction and Demolition recycling sort facility designed to divert recoverable materials from landfills and return them to productive use. The company processes both self-haul material and debris from dumpster haulers, contractors, and demolition firms, providing an essential service that strengthens waste diversion efforts within the construction ecosystem.
Structured to operate as a B-Corp or in alignment with B-Corp principles, Bearwater Materials integrates environmental responsibility with meaningful workforce development. The operation is expected to create more than 20 direct jobs and offer ESOP opportunities to full-time employees, fostering shared ownership and long-term stability. In addition, the company will provide 8–10 low-barrier, transitional employment positions supported by wraparound services, advancing both economic opportunity and community impact.
