Cups Movie exists to create and produce culturally relevant films that inspire and encourage people to engage the world through their faith. Their feature film, Cups Movie, is based on the true story of comedian Mike Williams, who left a comfortable life in the United States to follow a missionary calling in the Dominican Republic, where he partnered with Daniel Solares to establish the Cups Mission.

The Cups Mission serves children in the Dominican Republic, Malawi, and Mexico by rescuing them from vulnerable situations and equipping them with tools for a hopeful future. Through Christian discipleship, family counseling, nutrition, and medical care, as well as vocational training in fields such as culinary arts, seamstress work, business, and medicine, the mission empowers children to thrive. By telling these stories through film, Cups Movie seeks to amplify the mission’s impact and inspire global audiences to take part in creating redemptive change.
