Envest Microfinance Fund is a pooled investment fund that enables socially and environmentally conscious investors to support low-income, marginalized individuals through loans to microfinance organizations in low- and middle-income countries. Envest Microfinance Fund answers God's call to reduce poverty by providing capital to microfinance institutions (MFIs) that extend small loans to low-income borrowers, typically for entrepreneurial and income-generating purposes. It focuses on lending to small MFIs that have limited access to financial resources, and for nearly half of its partners, Envest has been their first international lender. As these MFIs repay Envest with interest, the fund delivers financial returns to its investors alongside social and environmental impact.
