SproutWorks
SproutWorks is an operational hub that builds and manages purpose-driven businesses to create dignified employment for individuals transitioning out of homelessness, addiction, or incarceration. The Portland White House is the home of this work — the place where Path of Hope takes physical shape inside SproutWorks, bringing together shared meals, hands-on training, and authentic community under one roof. By providing real jobs within supportive, community-centered enterprises, SproutWorks helps people move from instability toward long-term sustainability and removes the barriers that often stand between them and full participation in the workforce.
Through a network of mission-aligned ventures anchored at the Portland White House, SproutWorks integrates job creation, skills training, and entrepreneurial pathways into a cohesive model designed for lasting impact. The organization partners with local churches, ministries, and nonprofits so that participants receive both employment and relational support, reinforcing stability well beyond the workplace. By aligning business performance with redemptive opportunity, SproutWorks advances economic mobility while strengthening individuals, families, and communities.
