The SoCe Economic Development Group
The SoCe Economic Development Group is a community-focused real estate and economic development entity created to revitalize the SoCe Neighborhood just south of downtown Wichita, Kansas. The organization addresses neighborhood disinvestment by transforming abandoned and blighted properties into assets that support stable housing and local entrepreneurship.
Operating as an extension of The Neighboring Movement’s mission, the group acquires and rehabilitates underutilized facilities to serve the long-term needs of the community. These revitalized spaces are intentionally designed to foster economic opportunity, strengthen neighborhood vitality, and create pathways for residents to live, work, and build businesses locally. Through this place-based approach, the organization advances both social renewal and sustainable community development.
