Measuring What Matters: Our Impact Metrics Report

Over the past 10 years, Impact Foundation has been working to demonstrate that investing for impact is a powerful solution to some of the world’s most pressing challenges. In that time, we have built a diverse investment portfolio spanning over 150 countries. Now, we would like to demonstrate to our community that their generosity is truly making a difference.

We’re pleased to share our first Impact Metrics Report, published in July 2025, from our July 2024 survey of our Portfolio Companies.

Measuring impact is complex, and we were intentional about ensuring this process empowered rather than burdened our Portfolio Companies. We sought to honor each organization’s unique mission by allowing them to define and report on the metrics that matter most to them, rather than imposing a top-down framework.

We do not take credit for the impact reported here. The amount of financial contributions to these companies from Impact Foundation and our Donor/Investors varies from a small loan to a large equity position. However, even when we are significant funders of an entity, the real heroes of the story are those on the ground working every day to achieve real impact and financial viability.

We recognize that as this movement grows, so does the opportunity to learn. The data gathered not only helps us measure progress but also offers insights into what is working, what is not, and how God is moving in ways beyond our expectations.

We hope you review the report, learn more about our methodology and intent, and understand our aspirations for future surveys and data collection.
